As strange as it may seem, when choosing a building, many people will choose a building based on the way it looks first! We are visual animals! It is only after deciding we like the look of the building, do we start to ask the practical questions: What are the dimensions of the rooms? What are the views like? How close are the amenities? The aesthetics are, however, inevitably moulded by the practical needs of the building. It is only through intelligent design that an architect is able to satisfy both. Of course, ‘beauty is in the eye of the beholder!’ , what one person considers aesthetically pleasing may be considered unattractive by another. The skill of the architect is to design buildings that appeal to the majority (unless of course he is designing for an individual client!). This design maybe truly innovative and inspirational, or may take its design cues from society. As a building company, Eurobuilding Engineering Ltd considers building aesthetics as important as practical design. Of course, we have to market our buildings and for this they need to appeal to the people who want to buy them! When considering design we need to consider how that building will fit into the already existing surroundings, whether they are natural or man-made. A contemporary structure will not sit well in a traditional Bulgarian village, likewise, a traditional Bulgarian structure would not be a wise choice in a modern resort!
